I actually managed to get Tot out for a walk this morning before we set off for Rotorua!!
We stopped at Kiwi 360 on the way and arrived in Rotorua by 10.30. After Malcolm buying the tickets, we went in and had coffee and then to the Kiwi house and saw a very active Kiwi for a change and then down to the geyser which was also very active.
After a walk around the park it was time to go to see the show which was as good as it always is and I don't know how many times I have seen it now but still enjoy it.
We then went to the Fat Dog for a lovely lunch before going to the park to check out all the mud pools and bubbling water.
We then went for a lovely soak at the Polynesian Spa and although the pools were very hot we managed to find a cooler one and had a very relaxing hour.
Back in the car I had a text from Heather to say she was going on the jet ski with Lisa and we could meet at her mother's house on the lake on the way back but as it was getting late I decided to go home but I would like to go on the jet ski sometime, she will have to bring it round to the bay sometime.
We got back and as Malcolm had not been feeling too well due to an annoying cough I called the surgery and they said we could go and wait and see a doctor this evening which we did and nearly two hours later and with a prescription we got back home.
I had planned tapas for our meal and so was then very busy to get them all cooked but as it happened they all turned out well and we had a lovely meal out on the deck.
Heather came home very happy and excited about her time on the jet ski and she actually drove it - well bounced it along the lake!!
