32nd Anniversary!

I woke this morning and really missed having Tot around. I had my shower and got ready. Jon left for work and I went out to pick Tot up. She was very happy to see me.
Got back and tried hanging out some washing but the weather is so unpredictable so ended up using the clothes maiden and also the tumble dryer, the upstairs gallery looks like a laundry!!

Malcolm and I went out to Tauranga and I popped into the bank to have my new credit card authorized. I will need this for our trip to Oz as so far we have not had a credit card (well Jon has one for work and an Amex card) but I will need it for the hotel and things and just in case I run out of money!!!!
Malcolm and I then went for a coffee and sat in the sunshine and it was very warm. Bronwyn and Peter came along and we had a chat.
Malcolm and I then walked along the Strand to see the Maori canoe and onto the Rose Gardens and then to The Elms Mission House which is very nice.

We stopped off at the supermarket before going on to the Historic Village and had a nice walk around there.

We got back and I made lunch and we were able to sit outside on the deck.

Heather came back and she had bought Jon and I a lovely garden ornament of a Kiwi for our anniversary. She had also bought a plant for us from Kirsty. She also bought us a card which is amazing as she does not usually like to send cards!! We went into Tauranga to send her boxes. On the way the sky looked really black and I worried about my washing but it was too far to turn back!

The boxes were weighed and all the paperwork completed and then we left so all, well a lot of, her things are on the way.

On our way back the streets were very wet near the traffic lights, about a mile from home, but at the house it was quite dry so I was very lucky and brought my washing in then!!

I did a bit of ironing and then got dinner which was very nice.

We have booked to go and see the Iron Lady on Thursday night and will have a pizza before we go - no cooking!!

Malcolm and I are off to Rotorua tomorrow and hope for some good weather.

Our little dog is so happy to be home and I feel bad knowing she has to go in again next week!!!

WEATHER
A mix of cloud, rain and a little bit of sun 23 degrees
