Heather's last day at work.

The weather seems to be settling down at last and we had a lovely sunny day but it was cold first thing and through the night.

I had breakfast, hung the washing out and then took Tot for her walk.

It was then off to the hairdressers stopping off to order some copies of the photos we had taken at the parks last week.

After my haircut I went across to the nail salon to ask if they could take off my gel nails and fortunately they could do it straight away.

I then went for a coffee and to pick up the leaflets to go in with all the other Genera stuff for tonight. I stopped off to collect the photos before going to the recycling station to get rid of some bottles and the plastic containers.

When I got home I had a quick lunch and then got stuck into putting all the goodies into the bags. Heather went out for lunch with the girls from the office so I was on my own doing it and will be glad when it is all finished.

When Heather came back we finished off all the bags and packed them up ready to take to the hotel.

Jon came home early and we all got ready and left by 4.45 to set up the room.

The evening went very well and all the presentations were good and the guest speaker, who was an ex All Black called Bull Allen,  was very entertaining. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Jon and Heather were very pleased with the way things went. The new website went live today, too and is so much better than the old one..I only had one glass of bubbles as I was driving. We could have got a taxi home but I would have had to go and pick up the car tomorrow and I think I will have enough to do without that. Heather still has all her packing to do. I have some things out but nothing packed so I think I will be busy.

Heather so far is not upset at leaving the company and I am sure she will be fine when she says her final goodbyes tomorrow as she is so excited about going home. I can't believe we will be at the airport this time tomorrow waiting for our flight!!!
