Wednesday

Got up and showered but it was a real struggle as Jon had been up with Bertie last night who was very bad but I won't go into details.

After my shower I had a cup of tea and hung out my washing.

My friend Joan had left a message while we were away and I called her last night and I left her a message so while I was hanging out the washing she phoned back. She wanted to invite me to join her and some other friends for a lunch for her birthday. She said it was short notice and I asked when it was and it was today!! I said I would go but had to go to the osteopath first but I would meet her later.

I went over to the osteopath which is in Welcome Bay so not far. Fiona is so good and gave me a good massage but I did feel worse after it. I will see her again next week.

I then went to the garden centre and met Jon who had walked up there and we had a coffee and I bought a plant for Joan.

I just had time to put some make-up on and I was off out again.

We had a nice lunch with some lovely ladies who apart from Joan and one other I hadn't met any of them before but we had a good time though lunch was not great.

I went to the supermarket on the way home but I only buy what I need now as I have so much stuff in the larder to use up.

I caught up with Neighbours, well not quite and did some crochet and then made dinner. We had turkey leftover from Christmas would you believe and I did some vegetables and new potatoes and gravy and it was as good as when we first had it in December!!
