It was a real struggle to get up this morning, not sure what it will be like when the clocks change tomorrow.
I left to go to the Red Cross and Jon was going over to Hamilton to take our passports to immigration to get our residency finalised. (You have to do this after two years, a bit of a money making con but that is the way it is).
The shop was not very busy as it is the end of the sale and the new winter stock will be in over the weekend and if I am free on Sunday I will go in to help with the changeover.
I left the shop and went to the supermarket on my way home and the post office to post a parcel to Kirsty of baby clothes I have bought for her friends.
By the time I got home I was very hungry. Jon had just got back and had met the CEO of the audit company that Genera use. He said he would like to find Jon a job here as he feels he has a lot to offer. Very nice for Jon to hear but if anything comes of it I am sure our girls would not be impressed.
I did a few jobs around the house and then at 5.30 I took Jon over to Bayfair to meet some of the guys from the port and some of the office staff that are still friends to have a farewell drink. I decided not to stay but said I would pick him up later.
I got home and made a Bailey's cheesecake for tomorrow and by the time that was done it was time to go and get him.
It was nice to see the people from the office and they all seemed to be having a good time. They gave Jon a nice leaving card and a very nice bottle of wine.
We picked up some fish and chips on the way home from a different shop and the fish was delicious.
We watched some TV after dinner and then went to bed.
WEATHER
Mostly sunny with a bit of cloud 22 degrees
