Busy morning, visit to surgeon for Jon's check up took longer than we thought. He has a hernia around his stoma so will need more surgery probably in June.
Back home rushing around to get to kennels before 10.30 left Totty and she had to be carried away as she would not walk.
Set off and half way to Rotorua I realised I had forgotten the Lonely Planet and all my info. I was so mad with myself.
Stopped for a coffee but it was awful so we left it.
Drove on down thought the desert road and stopped for drinks then found a spot to have our picnic. Much colder down here.
After a very long drive we arrived in Wellington about 5.00 and found the hotel easily.
Bertie seems to have been upset by the examination and is not behaving!
Went out to the Crazy Horse for dinner with two Genera men and wives and had a really good night and lovely meal.
Left quickly as Bertie was being a pain again. I hope he settles down again tomorrow.
