Jon was up quite a lot last night and ended up taking more tablets and eventually Bertie settled down.
We had a phone call from Kirsty this morning and a long chat with her.
Sharon called and said that they could come over and Jon told them 2.00.
We went into Tauranga and had a coffee and then went to buy a heavier base for the sunshade as the one we have is not very strong.
We got back and I just had enough time to make Jon a sandwich and do a bit of cleaning and hang out the washing before Sharon and Des arrived.
We spent a lovely afternoon chatting to them and they brought over a bottle of their homemade wine and it was surprisingly good and we had some nibbles with it.
When they left it was time to get the dinner going and Jon watched the highlights of the rugby and he is so pleased they won and will have to make sure he does not gloat too much at work tomorrow.
We watched some TV but I fell asleep again!!
Only 4 weeks till Heather arrives - exciting now!!
