I have had some lovely emails from my family and friends wishing Jon all the best for his recovery and they really mean so much to us. Jon can't read them yet but I have told him about them.
Jane called this morning and I spoke to her for about an hour followed by a call from Heather for another hour. Poor Tot I completely forgot to give her breakfast till 10.00!!
Jon has told the girls that they can come out and see him if they want and he will sort out tickets for them so he has been looking at flights. Jane and Heather can come out together but Kirsty can only make different dates and can come out with James.
We took Tot out for a walk before going down to The Mount for coffee and then on to the supermarket where I bought a whole flounder for dinner!!
We got home and after lunch Jon went into the garden to work, it is looking very good at the moment. I think the owner should be paying us to live here.
I spent the afternoon emailing and taking phone calls from friends who are wishing us well but it is very hard.
I did some ironing and caught up with Neighbours.
I cooked the flounder and it was surprisingly good and we enjoyed it.
Jon is very upset at the thought of the stoma and I can understand as the thought of it, after having read up on the net, is not nice. I have said we need to wait and speak to the consultant about a second opinion. I knew he would not be happy about it but the alternative is much worse.
Kirsty phoned and we had a chat and she told me that James would like to come down, too so I will need to speak to Jon about it tomorrow when he is calmer.
Weather
Sunny 22 degrees
