It really did feel cold this morning but then we are well into autumn so to be expected.
Jon left for work and I got the washing on and changed the bed and put our winter duvet on as I think it is now cold enough. I thought Jane was going to phone but I misunderstood her email. I got on with dying my hair as it was looking a bit 'pale'. It doesn't take long it is just the thought of doing it that puts me off.
I took Tot out for her walk and she got to the end of the drive and sat down and wouldn't move and when I got her up she was lifting her front paw and looked like it was hurting her so I brought her back indoors. She went running to her bed as if nothing was wrong!! I put her lead back on and made her go out again and this time she walked and we went quite a long.
I spent the rest of the day doing my cleaning, had lunch and then did the ironing and I am now paying for it as my back is killing me.
I baked some Anzac biscuits today for Jon to take into work tomorrow as it is Anzac Day on Wednesday and so a national holiday. All shops and cafes are closed till lunchtime so not sure what we are going to do for our coffee!
Jon said he would be home early to finish watching the Grand Prix but he didn't get in till 6.15 so we ended up watching it over dinner.
There was lots of beef left over from last night so we just had that with a baked potato and salad.
I love the sunny days at this time of year but I do hate the cold in the houses and I fear this house is going to be very cold this winter even Jon said he will have to start changing into something warmer in the evenings when he gets home - I hate it when we have to put all our summer things away.
Right early night for me tonight.
