I went out to my aqua class this morning and then popped down to the Red Cross to collect my fleece that I left last Friday. I then went to buy some contact lens cleaning solution before buying some monk fish for dinner.
Back home I had a message from a friend in the UK to say she was here and could we meet tomorrow so I eventually managed to get back to her and arrange a place to meet which will be nice and also to see her daughter and new granddaughter.
I had lunch and did some sorting out of paperwork amazing how it builds up. I cleaned the bathrooms and did some ironing.
I had a load of washing on the line and with the terrible gusts of wind I lost one of my beach towels and found it at the bottom of the garden. Crazy weather as it is so hot but every now and again we get a really strong gust of wind.
I popped down to the post office to post a card and then came back and took Totty out for her walk but she was puffing and panting.
I cooked the fish but didn't eat much as I didn't like the recipe.
Early night as I have a long drive tomorrow.
