A cloudy day today!

Jon was up and ready early today and I was not long after him.

I spent the morning doing washing and housework. I took the dog to the vet at 10.45 as she has an itchy bottom again and had me up twice in the night. He cleaned her bottom and then gave her an injection for her ongoing leg problem and some cream and told me to start her on the steroids again. We got back home and I took her out for a walk as she has put 400grms on since last time she was at the vet and I am sure it is because she does not walk so much now.

I did a bit more housework and when I looked out of the window it had started to rain so I had to rush and get my three loads of washing in. Fortunately, it was nearly all dry.

I had some lunch and then went over to take some recycling and then to pick up my jeans and trousers from the dressmaker. I also met Les and we had a coffee and went to the health food shop.

When I got back I did the ironing and made the bed with clean sheets and then cooked some chicken in a tomato sauce for out dinner which we had with silverbeet.

As our clocks have changed it was getting dark after six and I had all the lights on, I hate it when the clocks change. The weather forecast is for a storm to come down from Fiji so the Easter weather looks like being wet so I don't think the East Cape will be nice in the rain. I am glad we didn't plan to go to Fiji as they are flooded again with a possible cyclone on the way.

We had dinner and watched TV. Jon had an email from Heather saying that somebody had scratched her new car. She came online on MSN and had a quick chat to me and she is really upset about her car, what a shame, some people are so mean.
