We were both awake and up early again today and once awake you might as well get up!
Jane phoned and we had a long chat and Jon is quite tickled to listen to Jane talking about her 'tomato plants' - who would have thought it - go Jane.
As soon as Jane finished Kirsty called and we had another long chat. We have told Kirsty that there is no point in her coming down as Jon will be going to Hamilton every day for six weeks from mid May so it would be a waste of her time and there is nothing she can do and WE are all fine with that.
We were just about to take Tot out and it started to rain and looked very grey and we thought it was in for the day.
We went over to one of our favourite coffee shops and by the time we got there the sun was shinning and we were able to sit outside!
We then went to look for dinner tonight and found it hard to decide what we wanted to eat and settled on flounder for dinner tonight and rabbit for tomorrow - I can't remember the last time we had rabbit!
We got home and took Tot out for a long walk and then came back and had lunch and then Jon spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden and I watched TV and did the ironing.
Our neighbours moved out last night and the new neighbours move in tomorrow so the owner and his wife have been there cleaning up. I hope the new people are nice.
We took Tot out for her second walk after we had our afternoon cuppa.
I felt sooo tired this evening and could quite happily have gone to bed. Since I have had dinner I get my second wind and wake up.
I phoned my sister and we had a chat which was nice. She is off to a family bbq for her grandson's first birthday but she told me the weather was not good for a bbq.
Off to bed now and hopefully I won't wake up too early tomorrow!!
WEATHER
Mixed bag today with some showers 21 degrees.
