After our late night we had a bit of a lie in this morning but Jon was up earlier than me to watch the Grand Prix.
I was reading my emails in bed (something that my ipad has allowed me to do which is rather nice) and had one from Heather asking if she could call so a quick reply to her and then the phone rang. Jon chatted to her first and I had a shower and then chatted to her. She said it was cold and miserable in UK and everyone is fed up with the bad weather - Oh! joy this is what we have to look forward to!!!
We then went out for coffee into Tauranga and then went down onto the Strand to watch the closing ceremony of the Relay for Life for the Cancer Society. A lot of brave people in some very hot conditions but it all looked good fun and ended with some 'pink' gorillas riding in on motor bikes!!!
When we got back we took Totty out for a walk and she walked all the way again. She had to be 'pulled' a few times but much better than she has been.
We spent the rest of the day at home and enjoyed the cricket.
I spent a long time in the afternoon on the Internet researching Chang Mai and things to do there. We are undecided as to whether we should just have two days there and the rest in Bangkok or all five days in Chang Mai. I found lots of things to do there that the travel agent had not suggested and so I think rather than have too many hotel changes we will stay the five days in Chang Mai. There is one elephant park which sounds particularly interesting not to mention temples, the zoo and flower gardens. We can travel to Bangkok again but I don't think we will have the chance to visit Chang Mai so i suppose we ought to make the most of it.
I had an easy dinner tonight as we had leftover roast lamb from last night so no cooking.
Jon watched the Grand Prix and I went up to the office to send some emails.
WEATHER
Sunny 24 degrees
