I was up first this morning as I wanted to go to the gym early and do my programme. I am really not a gym person and don't know how some people become so addicted to it. I do my programme and go.
Once home I hung out my washing and then Jon and I went down to Tay Street Beach for a walk with Totty. It is the first time she has been to the beach for more than a year I think. As she wouldn't walk I had given up taking her. Today she loved it and played her usual trick with shells and digging them up.
It was a lovely day down there and very few people about. We walked along till Jon was tired and then we turned back. Poor Totty really felt it coming back and I am sure she was glad when we got to the beach bar and sat down to have our coffee. Totty was so well behaved - it has only taken us 12 years to get her like this.
We went home as I was due at a Pilate's class at 12.30. Just as I got in the door the phone was ringing and the answer machine clicked in with a message to say my class was cancelled. A bit of a pain as this was to be my last one so not sure when I will have it now as it is Easter next week.
Thanks to Jon doing my housework on Saturday I didn't have any to do so stood and did my ironing instead. Jon went to the driving range and so I was able to catch up with Neighbours. We still have so much on the Sky box and we probably won't get to watch it all by the time we come home.
I had to take photos of the crate Totty came out to NZ in and send them and her measurements to a pet exporter for a quote. Ideally it would be good to get her back to the UK before we go on our travels after the wedding so that she is not in kennels so long. It all depends on Kirsty and James finding a house.
I am feeling very up and down at the moment as there is so much to do and sort out and things are still not settled at the office with emails coming backwards and forwards and I will be very relieved when it is all over as it is very stressful for us both.
At least we have our trip to Thailand sorted now and what we are going to do. Hopefully we can get down to the South Island in April because if we leave it any later the weather will be bad down there once the snow starts falling.
We watched some TV after dinner and I made another beanie. I am not sure how many that is now.
WEATHER
Sunny 24 degrees
