Another lovely morning and my sun burn is feeling a bit better today.
We both had breakfast and then off to work.
I arrived a bit late at the shop as I remembered I had put a load of washing on last night and if I don't hang it out and leave it in the machine it gets smelly in this weather.
We had a quiet morning in the shop and thankfully the new manager was not in today so it was much more relaxed. I was glad to see the sofa has been moved and now there is a little more space. I am not sure if my comments, that I wrote in the book last week, had anything to do with it or not.
Sharon is doing a retail course and one of her assignments is to dress a window with two displays so she did that this morning and we helped her sort out clothes and things. She asked me to take the photos on my phone and email them to her which I was happy to do.
The morning flew by and it was soon 1.00 and time to go home. It had been really hot in the shop and I was not feeling the best so was glad to leave.
I stopped into the post office in Maungatapu on my way home to collect a parcel that had been left there for me - my Mother's Day present from the girls. I have to just look at it till Sunday!!
I got in and had a bit of lunch and it was so hot I didn't do anything much but bring one load of washing in and put another out.
I noticed the gardener didn't come again. I am not sure when she last came. I might have to speak to the agent as things are getting very big.
Not sure why I am not feeling well and nothing I can put my finger on, I just don't feel right. I suppose it could be from too much sun yesterday.
I have spent ages trying to email the photos to Sharon but the email just won't go. I have been onto Google and from what I read sending photos from a Samsung is difficult and it often doesn't work. I think I will have to go into Vodaphone tomorrow and see if they can help. It is very frustrating.
Jon came home from work late as he had been speaking to his colleague in Oz and they are behind us. I thought he would be very tired as he had a bad night last night but he was OK.
Jon went out for fish and chips and I had told him I didn't want much and just to get half a scoop of chips but he forgot and this week the portion of chips was huge and we had two big pieces of fish. I just ate the fish and left the batter and Totty got more than she normally does!!
We watched some TV and it was still very warm this evening we had all the doors open till bedtime.
We thought we might go to Taupo tomorrow but I will see how I feel.
WEATHER
Sunny 28 degrees
