Well showers were forecast for today but it has been another beautiful day.
I sat in a coffee bar this morning in the lovely sunshine and enjoyed a coffee while listening to a South American group play pipe music.
On my way to the library there is a ladies clothes shop that has a rail outside and I usually have a look through. It says it is clearance stock and week by week it has been reduced until today it had everything for $20, about £7.75. I had a look through and found a lovely, black pinstriped skirt, fully lined and reduced from $155, about £77. I tried it on and it is a lovely fit and very smart. What a bargain! It was only when I got home and worked out the price that I realised what a good deal it was.
I then went on to the library and chose books for Jon and I. A lot of the books are by American authors and you have to have a good look through as they are arranged by author so all the crime, thriller and romance etc are all together and it is quite hard work finding what you want.
Horror of horrors when I got to the computer to check them out I put my hand in my bag to get my card from my wallet and inside my bag crawling on my wallet was a small cockroach agh!!!! I was trying to get it out of my bag without causing too much attention and hoped nobody could see it. Eventually I managed to get it out and it crawled away under the desk. Tauranga City Library will have to be fumigated and it is all my fault!
I have been warned about cockroaches here in Tauranga but so far we have only found three or four in the house and Jon has dealt with them pretty swiftly but in future I will have to make sure I don't leave my handbag on the floor. If it had crawled out in the car I would have had a fit.
Jon wasn't home for lunch today as he had a conference call to do at the office so it was lunch alone. He is off to Sydney tomorrow until Thursday night but won't be back her until after midnight so I have two days on my own.
