Saturday

I was woken this morning at 6.45 by the builders on the new build house below ours using and angel grinder, not too bad here but I am glad I don't live next door!! Later the bricklayers came in and had the radio on full blast in their car. We went out so not sure how long it went on for.

We went to Bethlehem for coffee at the garden centre and then I took my sunglasses back that I had bought last week. The pharmacist did a good job trying to tell me that I would get used to the bifocals but I just wanted my money back which I did get.

We then went to the supermarket for a few things and then back home for lunch.

I spent the afternoon on the computer and Jon slept in the chair, not sure how the time passed but it did. I also dyed my hair and washed the dog so not a waste of time for me.

I made a Baileys cheesecake today which looks pretty good.

We had a cup of tea and I sat on the deck and read my book.

Dinner was nice, I used the parsley pesto which I made on Thursday with pasta and mixed it with courgetes and chicken and it was very tasty.

Jon is not feeling very happy at the moment, being tired is getting him down but not as much as it is getting me down. I get so frustrated with him feeling sorry for himself. I know what has happened to him is awful but he is alive and the prognosis is good so we just have to make the best of it - sigh...... We have sooo much to be grateful for.

I think I might drink myself into an early grave!!
