One day to holiday and Jon is really looking forward to the break, me not so much as life is one long holiday!!

Jon went off to work and then I left not long after and arrived, on time!! Les was back and it was lovely to see her and she told us about her stay in Adelaide and it sounds a lovely place to visit - on the list!!

The shop was quiet which was nice as we managed to catch up. I finished at one but not before I found a lovely green dress which will do very nicely to take away!!

I popped into the Sallies on the way home and found a lovely little elephant, ceramic plaque which will go nicely in the bathroom. I also found a lovely flan dish which I have been looking out for.

I got home early - for a change - and had lunch and then vacuumed to make sure it was clean when we go away - I hate coming back to a messy house. I then went next door to ask if David could water the plants, mainly the tomatoes. I told them to help themselves if any ripen but they are all so green I am not sure they will yet. Edwina had a friend there and we sat on the deck having a chat and I could have happily stayed for longer. Edwina's friend filled me in on Monarch butterflies and told me they always leave the plant to turn into a chrysalis which is why I can't find my big fat one. She told me to put them in a jar with some leaves when they start to turn a dark colour. Hopefully, when we get back there will still be some eggs and I can do that.

When I got back Jon was home and we had a cuppa and then I went upstairs to pack. It didn't take long as it was all sorted and we have more than enough space.

Jon went out for fish and chips and we had dinner and watched Coronation Street. Just got to the exciting bit where Ches is back and John has run off. Not sure where they are up to in Oz so maybe we will wait till we get back, probably too busy on holiday anyway.

I sorted the rest of our things out, lotions and shampoos and suncream etc and now it is bed time. Poor Tot is not looking very happy. I love going away but I hate leaving her.
