Monday

Jon has gone to Nelson today. His flight to Wellington was not until 10.00 so he didn't need to rush. He would then catch a flight across to Nelson and meet up with the operators for lunch. He is staying in Nelson but flies back to Wellington tomorrow for a meeting and then catches the last flight back to Tauranga and should be home by 8.30.

I was just about to phone my friend Mary when the phone rang and it was Heather so we had a chat but she had things to do so after a chat with Jon she finished. She asked me again about the photos from Fiji as I still haven't put them all on so I must do it.

Jon left for the airport and I rang Mary and we chatted for ages and had a really good catch up. While I was on the phone the man came to cut the grass but I managed to avoid him.

Once off the phone I checked the photos that Heather wanted and it took me ages to find the ones I had already put on Facebook and where I had got up to but I goth them sorted. I didn't manage to get much housework done this morning though. I need to do it as we have a house inspection on Thursday.

I sent Jon a text as I found a pair of PJ's in the bathroom and was not sure if he had taken another pair from the drawer or he had forgotten them. He called me to say he had forgotten them but at least he had time to go and buy another pair before the shops closed. He told me he had arrived safely and it was sunny and warm down there.

I left for my Pilate's class which was very good. I am only gone about an hour as it is local so I was back in time for a late lunch after taking Totty for a quick walk. I should have taken her first thing as it was a bit hot for her.

One of the ladies from Lions called to say the trip to Matakana Island has been postponed. It is the Maori island in the harbour and they are holding a wedding on the day we are booked - a lack of communication with them I think. We will re book for August as they only have Fridays left and not a lot of us can do Fridays.

I watched Neighbours and then did the cleaning but it was really hot. That will teach me to talk on the phone all morning and then do my housework in the afternoon!

I had taken the sheets of the bed and washed them so had to iron them and make the bed.

I spoke to Wendy who is our Lions president, she had left a message for me to call her and we had a long chat about Norfolk Island as she went there in December.

I had my dinner on a tray on my lap - how naughty is that and then I watched some TV and the film We Bought a Zoo which was very good.

Well very late now so I am off to bed.

WEATHER
Sunny and warm 25 degrees.
