Monday - back to normal

Up as normal today and back into routine.

Jon left for the office early as he has a new sales woman starting.

I spent the morning messing about with photos from our holiday and doing four loads of washing.

I took Totty out for a walk and passed by at my neighbour to say thanks for watering the plants. They invited me in for a cup of tea so I took Tot home and then went back and we had a chat.

Edwina has wanted to go to Norfolk Island but her husband doesn't so she wanted to know all about it. My opinion is that we really enjoyed it but a week is enough.

I left to come home for lunch and she gave me a pot of plum jam she made with plums from their garden.

I had lunch and watched Neighbours and then got the iron out and started to do my ironing.

I fancied shepherd's pie so I made one for dinner - 29 degrees on the deck and I make shepherd's pie!!

I had frozen some yogurt before we went away to start my next lot and I took it out of the freezer and made the yogurt before I went to bed. I fully expected it to be like milk but it worked so I am off again with my yogurt supply.

Jon came home and was tired after a long day. He went out to water the plants. The nurse rang today to say his blood test he had this morning was fine and he can start his tablets tomorrow. Last course Yeah!!

We had dinner which, despite the heat, was very good.

We watched Coronation Street, we are up to John Stape falling off the roof and Fiz being arrested, all very exciting.

I have been very good on my healthy eating today and I have not had any sugary things to eat.
