Exercise Day

I was very glad I brought my washing in last night as we had a very heavy downpour and first thing it was very overcast.

Jon started his last lot of chemo this morning so just two weeks left.

I went to keep fit and boy did she work us hard and it was really hot and humid and I was dripping by the end of the class but that is good for weight loss. I stayed for a coffee and then went home and I was one and a half pounds lighter than a few hours earlier so that is the answer, exercise and sweat like a pig!!! But I don't think pigs sweat. Lol

I took Totty out for a walk and she walked all the way down the road and round the corner. We turned to come back and I met a lady doing her garden and we had a chat and I asked her about the big dog round there that always made me nervous and if she knew if it was friendly. She told me it was a very friendly dog but that it had been taken away as the owner was mis treating it. Sad for the dog but it makes me feel better as it was very big.

Totty point blank refused to walk up the hill back home and I had to pick her up and bring her back and she is no light weight!!

I did a few jobs around the house and had my lunch, still keeping to my diet. I have now caught up with Neighbours and now I need to catch up with Mrs Brown's Boys, Doc Martin and Downton Abbey, Upstairs Downstairs and oh so many more!!!

I left to go to my aqua aerobics class and it was by now a very hot afternoon and I was looking forward to getting in the pool. It was lovely to see my friend Carol back from Oz after looking after her grandson in Sydney for seven weeks.

The water in the pool was lovely and we had a really good class and Carla worked us really hard, too with some new exercises.

I had a little chat and then got showered and went to the supermarket on the way home for a few things.

Jon was in when I got back and I got on with the dinner which was a nice recipe from my 'healthy recipe' magazine. I did have an ice cream for pudding though.

We watched some TV and I fell asleep in the middle of Midsummer Murders like I always do. I know all the beginnings and the ends but I never know what happens in the middle.

I have a bite on each foot just on the bunion area and they itch something terrible every night and drive me crazy. I put cream on when I go to bed but have to re apply at least once through the night - bloody mozzies!!
