Had some nice phone calls to UK this morning and chatted to Heather and Kirsty and they both sound well though Kirsty is a bit fed up with problems at work, hopefully it will get sorted out soon and she will feel better.
I then had a nice (typed) chat to Jane and she seems fine too although she does not know what she wants for her birthday so I expect it will be money again.
I spent the morning answering emails, surprising how quickly I get behind.
I took Totty out for a very late walk and saw saw Bronwyn on the way back. she has just come back from Dunedin where her brother is seriously ill in hospital, he had to be flown up from Invercargill by helicopter. Hopefully, he over the worst and will now get better.
Had lunch when Jon came home and then went out to do my supermarket shopping shopping. I went to Pak n Save and found Jelly Babies so bought some. I was so excited to see them I didn't even look at the price and now feel it is better if I don't check my receipt!!! I bought steak for dinner but only bought one as they were so big. Not sure what Jon will think when I tell him he is having a half a steak for dinner.
Took Totty out for her walk and it was lovely and warm.
