Kirsty called this morning in time for Jon to have a chat to her before he went to work. I had a chat to her but as I had my swimming class and needed to get Totty out I couldn't speak for too long.
I was a little late getting to my class but at least I manged to get Totty out, I have a hair appointment later and won't be home till very late.
The class was very good and we took over the whole pool today so had a lot of space. I missed Carol as she is away in Bali at her son's wedding. I went for coffee with Diane and Monica and a few others.
I went into the Mount shops to look for a T shirt to go with a skirt I have but 'brown' is not 'in' so I was told!
Went and had my hair cut and my lovely hairdresser can only fit me in for one more cut before she leaves to live in Oz. she also told me she is pregnant and due in may which is lovely news for her, she is so sweet.
Jon has gone up to Auckland till tomorrow so I didn't need to get back for lunch. I then went to have a look in Bayfair for a T shirt but couldn't find one.
It was 1.30 by the time I got home and not much in the fridge for lunch so I used up a tiny bit of cheese I had and made a sandwich. It was then time to get ready to go across to Bronwyn's and then pick up Alison and take her for her birthday tea. We went down to ** in the Mount and we had huge pieces of carrot cake but I had to bring half of mine home. I bough Alison a pen and she said she liked it.
Back home and time to take Totty out for her walk and it was good to smell a few bbq around this evening.
Got back and cooked some fish for my dinner and did a few things on the computer that I needed to catch up with.
I phoned Rene, my old neighbour who has just celebrated her 87 birthday. she still cries when I speak to her but on the whole sounds OK.
I then spoke to Joyce to wish her a happy holiday down in Suffolk to see her new granddaughter and then it was time for me to fall into bed.

Cloudy for most of the day but warm 19 degrees
