I was up early this morning and had very sore legs from all the steps yesterday. I had the washing out and had walked the dog by 9.15 as I was going out for another walk with Alison. I met Peter and Uppy in the park, typical I meet another dog for Totty to play with when I haven't the time to stay.
We went to Te Puna quarry and looked at the orchids which are beautiful at this time of the year. We walked around the park and went up to the top and sat looking at at the view in the sun and chatting, it was beautiful up there and so peaceful.
We then went for coffee. Alison took me to a new place, Decor. It is a garden centre and very well set out.
I got home in time for lunch. There were only two bits of bread and two crusts so had to use that to make sandwiches - corned beef again!
After lunch I went out to buy bread and fruit.
Came back and did my usual Monday housework but in half the time.
I took Totty out for a walk and then came back and did the ironing.
Dinner - corned beef and salad - all gone now but good value.
