Our intention was to have a day at the beach for a picnic today as the forecast was good. However, when we got up the weather was cloudy and windy and at the exposed end of the park we were nearly blown away when we took Totty for a walk.
We decided instead to go and look for a king size summer duvet as the one here at the house is just double and not big enough. We went over to Briscoes and had quite a job finding a summer weight duvet as most of them didn't have a tog number on like we have in the UK. We eventually bought one which the young girl assured us was summer weight! I also found some more reading glasses as I broke my others while wearing them round my neck at the shop, they get caught up with the coat hangers.
We then went for coffee but it was much too windy to sit outside and there were so many little children in the cafe we ended up on a table in the entrance which was in fact quite pleasant.
We got back home and had an indoors picnic for lunch.
I didn't feel like doing much else so Jon did a bit of gardening and washed the car and I did a bit of farming on Farmville.
We had some good stir fried beef cooked with sesame seeds for dinner.
