After a lovely sunny walk down to Rotary Park with Totty (even though it was very late as I had been chatting to Heather on MSN) we went down to the Mount and had coffee. It was a really lovely sunny day and we sat outside on the street. It really amazes me that parking is free on Saturdays!
After coffee we went down to Travelcom, the travel agents that Genera use to ask about our holiday for our 30 anniversary in January. After a lot of discussion with Ester, who is Dutch, we finally settled on the Sunshine Coast in Australia as she thought it would be better to go up to Fiji or Samoa in June (which will be the dry season) when we plan to have our next holiday. We finally decided on the first night in Brisbane followed by five nights up on the Sunshine Coast and then the last night in Brisbane again as the flight is very early. She looked at some flights with Emirates Airlines and they include Business Class in the price so we will certainly go for that, big wide seats, champagne and lobster - bring it on! She will put a package together and get in touch with us on Monday or Tuesday.
After that we did a bit of Christmas shopping. I am putting together a box of bits for the girls along with Heather's 21 presents.
We went back home for lunch and as it was so warm we just spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the deck reading and enjoying the sun.
Our neighbours had a BBQ which smelt lovely. We had duck which I had finally managed to find in Pak n Save on Thursday.
