Sunday and it is much warmer.

Well what a change the weather is much better today.

We went down to the garden centre for coffee today and then bought some basil and chives as our seeds didn't grow. We also bought a new mint as ours has died as it was pot bound so of course we had to buy a bigger pot. We also bought a Rosemary plant so our herb garden is now complete and looks pretty good. I was also surprised, though I don't know why I should have been, to see Poinsettias in the garden centre so we bought one of those, too. Apparently they grow outdoors here!

After lunch we went to the driving range to hit some balls. Why can these eight and nine year olds do it so well?

We then went looking at cars for me. You can get really good deals with some of the Japanese cars. The problem I have is I don't know what I want. Most of the new models have very short bonnets and I don't like them, how do you see to park? I need to get in them and have a test drive and see what they feel like. We saw some good deals so I will have to go back next week and have a drive.

The weather had by now clouded over but we managed to get home and get Totty out before it rained but it was still very warm.

I cooked nasi goreng for dinner tonight and it was very good. I would describe it as a Malaysian paella. I also made a very good boysenberry and apple crumble. It was really good and the crumble was made of breadcrumbs, a nice change.
