I called my friend, Mary, in the UK this morning and was on the phone for nearly two hours and it was lovely to chat to her. I then had a chat to Heather on MSN - where did the morning go. I did manage to get my washing done and the bed changed before Jon came back for lunch!
Just as Jon was leaving my friend, Joan, called. I haven't spoken to her for a few months and so we had a long chat and I was on the phone for an hour and a half!
As Totty missed out on her walk this morning I thought we would have an extra long one and we did as I met Viv in the park and was chatting to her for an hour! So all in all a very chatty day. Viv told me that Rotary Park, where I only go when Jon is with me as it is a bit isolated when you get down to the beach there, is a well known meeting place for 'gays'. We had wondered why so many men are sitting in their cars down there - we thought they were just looking at the lovely views!!!!!
