What a busy Friday

I arrived at the shop more or less on time this morning but it is never busy first thing. The weather forecast was for sun and 20 degrees but it was quite cold and windy.

There is a new volunteer at the shop. She is 17 and wants to be a missionary but I think she will need to get a bit more with it as she was very droopy and not much get up and go. We were quite busy most of the morning but it didn't stop me finding two T shirts for me and two very nice polo tops for Jon - all new at a total cost of £3.50!

I stayed late at the shop as Jon had a lunch meeting and Les was on her own with Carmen and needed a bit more help so I was late doing my shopping and it was 1.30 by the time I got back and I had to put my shopping away, have lunch and be out to pick Janice up for 2.00. It was a rush but I made it.

We went over to Bethlehem where the book sale is being held to price up all the jigsaw puzzles. I was very surprised to see the amount of books they have and Lois and Elizabeth have put a lot of work into the planning, I am sure we will make lots of money. We stayed there until 5.00 and then I came home and took Totty out for her walk and she was more than ready for her dinner.

We had some lovely fish and chips for dinner but I had salad with mine for a change.
