What a busy day

We took Totty out for her walk to the park this morning and it was a lovely morning.

We then set off to the Mount to have a coffee, and a muffin, before setting off to walk up it. It was a really beautiful day, the sun was shinning but not too hot and there was a slight breeze. The views were really good as it was so clear and you could see White Island, Whale Island and Mt Edgecumbe all really well. We had a rest at the top and sat and enjoyed the view over Matakana Island, we really must take a trip over there and have a look round the Maori sites. We walked down the other side and after walking through the sheep got to the bottom.

We got home, after battling our way through the traffic for the rugby match at Bay Park, and had lunch and then set off with Totty to Te Puna. We had a lovely walk around the park and saw lots of orchids out in flower. By the time we got back home we were very tired. Jon washed the car and I coloured my hair which is long overdue.

We were ready for our Saturday night G & T and I made stir fry for dinner followed by some very good 'Shades of Blue' NZ cheese. They make some very good cheese here.

After watching Poirot it was time for bed. Not sure my legs will take a golf lesson tomorrow!
