but my reflexology session didn't seem to do me much good. I woke up feeling quite rough and my back was killing me. Where he had massaged my foot at the bottom was really tender, too.
I set off walking with Totty but it started to pour with rain and she did not look happy to we turned back and she ran all the way!
I went off to the Red Cross shop and it was just Lorraine and I today. Lorraine is quite funny as she sorts through all the clothes and tries so much on, she spends most of her time in the changing rooms! We are still getting lots of stock in from Australia and it does not stay around for long. I put out four boxes of children's and baby clothes and it was going as fast as I was putting it out - some of it is really lovely and still with the labels on. The morning went over very fast but my back felt like it was dragging me down and I was glad when I finished.
After a quick trip to the supermarket I got back in time for lunch with Jon and just before it started to rain really hard.
It rained for the rest of the day and got really windy and cold so I lit the fire and read my book.
Jon called to say Mark and Val had asked if we would like to go out to dinner with them tonight but I really didn't feel like sitting up at a table for a few hours as my back is still not good and it is so wet and cold to go out.
Much to Totty's delight it is fish and chip night. she is still so funny when Jon gets back with them. She just hears the garage open and she starts barking and doesn't stop until she gets her few chips and a bit of fish in her bowl. They are usually very hot and she then growls at them as she can't pick them up. She would really miss fish and chip night.
