Monday is washing day

And what a good day it was for getting it dried. all washed, dried and ironed by 4.30 what a star I am!

Apart from the above and taking Totty out twice and reading my very good book I haven't done anything else.

We had Indian for dinner tonight. It was a packet sauce called butter chicken which I haven't seen in the UK but it was very good and the right amount for two and just the tasty dinner I was needing.

Just as I was about to go to bed I checked my emails and there was one from Heather saying her new house in Derby is a mess. Her friend Sami had tried to move in as she has a few days work in Derby but the house is in no fit state. Sami took lots of photos and phoned the agent and is meeting up with him and the landlord tomorrow. I just hope they get it sorted out for them and we don't have a repeat of last year. I have seen the photos now and it is terrible and the landlord says he has cleaned it!!!!! The freezer is completely frozen and all the drawer fronts are broken and there is food still in it. The oven and grill are so dirty and have so much burnt on food they only look fit for the tip. There is so much grease and dirt between the cupboards on the floor you could scrape it off as it is so thick. I just don't know how these landlords get away with it. Fingers crossed the agent is better than the one she used last year. I spoke to Heather and she is going to let me know what happens.
