It was lovely and warm this morning and we took Totty down to the beach. The tide was a long way out but I didn't have my wellies on to go walking along the beach as it was still very wet.
We went up to Gate Pa shopping area and had coffee before going to Mitre 10 which is a DIY store and you would think you were in B & Q as the colours are the same. We needed a new hosepipe and a cover for the BBQ as the old one has holes in it and is letting the rain in. I bought a rotating brush, a bit like an electric feather duster, to clean the blinds. We only have blinds, no curtains, and they get very dusty and are a real pain to clean this new thing seems to do a good job.
After lunch we went down to the driving range and had 50 balls each. I just don't seem to be able to get a grip on the club that feels comfortable. However, by the last ball I was hitting it more than missing it! I am still not sure though. The thing is if I don't do it and Jon does I could find myself at home on my own at weekends and I don't want that either so I had better keep on and hope it gets better.
