I had a busy day of housework today cleaning all the kitchen units and on top of them. Living in another persons house is a bit strange and I don't want it to get too messy and then have to have a huge clean up when we leave so it is better to do it as I go along.
It was a sunny day so I got all my washing dry outside which saved using the dryer - our electricity bill was very high when Heather was here, I used the dryer more as the weather was so bad and also we probably used more hot water and of course there was the radiator in her room. It will be interesting to see what it is like next month.
Apart from a quick trip to the post office and take Totty out twice that was all I did but I felt like I had run a marathon!
The weather is still warm but I don't think we have seen the last of the cold weather as it is only the beginning of August.
