....I'll give it a chance but not sure how it will go.
After taking Totty out for her walk we went to Bayfair for coffee and a look around the shops until it was time for our golf lesson. Andy, the instructor is very young and enthusiastic. We went down to the driving range after being fitted for a club to practice with. We had a basket of 50 balls each and he proceeded to tell us how to hold the club, it feels very strange, and how to stand, that feels very strange, too. It all looks so easy on the TV but I found it hard and I was as stiff as a pole and really didn't do well. It seemed a very long hour and I was glad when it was over. My back hurt, my hands and fingers hurt and my legs hurt in fact, I hurt all over and Jon wasn't much better. Andy said we need to relax!!!! There is so much to think about We are booked in for six weeks but not sure if I will like it or not. Jon is eager to keep going and I suppose after just one lesson it is too soon to make a decision one way or the other.
We went into Tauranga and had some lunch before a quick trip to buy some wine and then back to take Totty out again.
The weather seems to be much better now, not as cold or as wet as it was when Heather was here - sod's law!
We had a nice dinner but I am still not enjoying wine but did enjoy my weekly G & T.
We lit the fire but it was so warm we had to open the patio doors! I don't think we will bother with a fire tomorrow.
