I had a phone call from Jane this morning and she told me all about her scan and how much you can see on it, so much better than the ones I had.

I left to go and meet the ladies I used to swim with for a coffee. I did intend to walk around the Mount but had no time.

It was nice to meet up with the ladies and have a chat, not many more weeks I can do it.

I got home and just had time to have my lunch before going out to the bookrooms to help Lions as they are having a one day sale on Saturday which I can now help with as we are not going away.

They gave me a lovely book written by an artist from Tauranga. He spent 18 months travelling all over NZ doing paintings of all the places he visited and we have been to the majority of them. They are really colourful paintings with lots of detail. Not sure what style you would call it, they look like sophisticated children's paintings. He writes a little about each place and I just love it. Janice also gave me a lovely calendar which had a few places we have not visited so she says we must come back!

When I got back I fed Totty and then Jon came home looking tired after spending too long in the office so he had a little nap before dinner. I am reading Twelve Years a Slave so enjoyed some time reading - very sad.

I made the dinner, very easy two meals I had frozen. The freezer is looking so empty now!

We watched some TV and then I caught up with some emails and now off to bed to have another read.
