Jon was not feeling very well at all this morning so it looks like it is one step forward and ten steps back. He says he thinks it is because he is hungry but then when I give him food he can't eat it.
He had a sleep on the settee and when he woke I asked him if he still wanted to go out for a coffee and he said he did. We didn't go far and he enjoyed his coffee and then we went back home.
I spent the rest of the morning doing some housework - it didn't feel like a bank holiday even the rubbish collections were on today.
I made Jon a sandwich for lunch and he ate half and then had a sleep while I went out to the supermarket to get a few bits as Jon said he would like some roast chicken.
Once home I had to wash the kitchen floor as it was driving me mad. After cleaning all the units tops the other day I had left water marks on the floor and it looked terrible.
I seem to have hurt my shoulder blade when I was carrying the garden rubbish up this morning and it is very painful. I might take a trip to the osteopath if it doesn't improve.
I cooked the chicken and just did mashed potatoes and vegetables with it. Just as I was about to serve it Jon said he felt ill and went to bed for a lie down! All that work and he couldn't eat it.
Jon got up later after I had finished my dinner and cleared away and said he would eat a sandwich which I made and he then went back to bed. Not sure how long I let this go on before we do something about it? At least Bertie is working properly now.
One good thing, one of my Lions friends wants to buy the freezer so I will need to get it emptied and not sure when she wants it. It's a start.
