Up early this morning to get organised before going to the Red Cross. I had my breakfast and then prepared a sandwich for Jon's lunch as I was going to the hairdressers and would not be home till late.

Jon had slept well but had woken around 3.00 and did not know where he was - bless him!

I went to the shop and all was restored to normal as Sharon was back so a happy shop again. It wasn't particularly busy so we just tidied the rails and put out some children's clothes. I am getting quite a selection of things for Baby Meddows now. All different sizes so will go on for a few years. I also found the most beautiful dress for me. It is made by an Australian chain called Jaquie and is lovely and fits so well and all for $9 you just can't go wrong.

I left the shop at 1.00 and went into Tauranga to the salon and had my eyebrows shaped and dyed first and then had my hair done. It is getting quite long now and people say they really like it. I like it but it does take more time to wash and dry so not sure how long I will be letting it grow.

I then went down to the port to get some fish before going home.

Jon was fine and had not done anything silly while I was out. He is feeling very weak as is to be expected and he has lost a stone in weight. He says you can't see it but he is now back in his normal shorts and he has very skinny legs! I just have to keep feeding him good food and he needs to rest when he is tired and hopefully he will soon feel better.

I went out for the fish and chips tonight but phoned the order through so I didn't have to wait. We had snapper and it was good and Totty enjoyed hers, too.

We caught up with Coronation Street which is only on once a week but for two hours which is a bit long but by the time we whizz through the commercial breaks it is not too long.

We are both very tired tonight so I think it is early to bed for us.
