How annoying is it when you can have a lie in but wake at the normal time the alarm goes off?

I was not impressed with Totty last night either as she was up and needed her cover put back on ten times!!! I really wish I could break the habit but it is so annoying listening to her growl by my side until I put her cover on. Maybe, when we get back to the UK and we have central heating I can stop her doing it!

We went down to the Mount for coffee but on the way Bertie had a leak so we had to stop at the shopping centre to go to the toilets. All sorted and we set off again. It was only another few kilometres but Bertie had another leak. Not sure what has upset him but our first stop was the toilets again in the car park. Fortunately, he was well behaved after that.

We went to one of our favourite cafes and had a coffee and shared a brioche and sat in the sun.

After coffee we headed straight home as I thought Jon looked very tired.

When we got back he just sat in the chair and really didn't look well. I think he did too much staying at work all day. He never learns.

I asked my friend, Viv, to call the hotel in Napier to check if a room was free and they said it was so it looks like we won't get our money back.

I got ready and left to go to the Lions book sale as I was due on for the afternoon. I told Jon to either go to bed and sleep or sit in the chair but not to do anything else.

The book sale had been busy for most of the morning but not so busy when I got there. I spent the afternoon tidying the tables and putting books back in order. It was really hot in there though.

The afternoon passed quickly and I stopped for a break at three o'clock and went into the tea room and had a drink and a chat with some of the other ladies. We closed up at four o'clock and I went to buy some fruit and then home.

Jon was still sat in the chair but he had not been able to sleep but he did look better. Another quiet day tomorrow I think.

I sat and read my book for a while and then cooked dinner and we then watched some TV.

We are both really tired tonight and I know Jon will sleep well I just hope Totty lets me sleep!
