Thursday

I was up and ready to leave for my walk today before Jon had had a shower!

I gave Jon meat last night which was the first time for about two weeks and Bertie was not happy about it and Jon was up and down a lot before he finally settled. Looks like we are on fish and chicken from now on!

I arrived at the park, which runs along part of the inner harbour, where we were all to meet and the tide was in which makes it much nicer to walk. When the tide is out at this particular place they get a lot of sea lettuce which smells really bad when it is drying out.

There were about 30 people to do the walk but some of them belong to the heart group for exercise so they only did a short walk but the rest of us from Body and Soul did the long walk but not sure how far it is.

Diane had not been able to get a coffee van so we only had a cold drink so Ros and I left and went to a café for a proper coffee and a chat.

I left Ros and went to buy some fish and got a John Dory and some king fish.

I then went to do some shopping but only the minimum that I need as I have to use up things I have in the cupboard.

I got back and had some leftover pasta and mixed it with some tuna and tomato.

I caught up with Neighbours before going upstairs to the office and spent ages putting our things for sale in the free ads which come out on Tuesday and need to be in by Friday. Ros told me about it and you can advertise as many things as you want as long as they are under $200 so if I want to adversities the fridge and washing machine I will have to pay but I think I will leave them for another week.

Jon came home and we had an early dinner as I had my Lions business meeting. I cooked the John Dory and it was very good. I just hope Bertie approves!

I went to the meeting which is the last business meeting I will go to and then I have one dinner meeting and that will be it.

I came home and rang my friend's husband in the UK to see how she is after her surgery and she is fine which is good.

We lost the Internet again. I have no idea why it just drops out but it does it a lot and makes me so angry.

Off to bed now to have a read.
