Thursday

I was awake and cleaning up a dog mess at 3.00 this morning and now Totty is really in the dog house. I know she hasn't been well since Monday but to have to clean the carpet at that time of the day is a bit much and then I couldn't get back to sleep!!

I spent the morning doing the housework that should and usually is done on a Monday but I was busy doing other things.

The canvas of Jane and Jason's wedding arrived and it is very nice but not sure if or where we should hang it as not sure what we are doing.

Jon got back about 12.30 and had had a late breakfast so didn't want lunch so I made my own.

I spent the afternoon doing the ironing and Jon started yet another puzzle.

I got ready to go to my Lions meeting and left a casserole out for Jon.

The meeting was good and we had roast lamb with another lovely selection of vegetables. Pudding was not so good individual apple pies with very synthetic apple in them.

Our speaker was a lady from Homes of Hope and they do a lot of work with abused and neglected children and the abuse is very terrible to listen to so sad.

The meeting ended late and of course the same few stayed to do the clear up as the new rota is not in place yet.

I got home and went onto the net to try and sort out the present I am buying for Kirsty and James but it took forever so sort what should have been simple but it is ordered and they should have it soon.

Time for bed now as we have a busy day tomorrow.
