I had trouble getting motivated this morning and really didn't feel like doing anything and I had nothing planned. I eventually got going and had a very productive day.
I did my washing and whilst hanging it out to dry noticed a few weeds near the back steps so I set to and cleared a big area and cut back some dead stuff from some of the many succulents in this garden. I also cut back a lot of stuff from the back yard area and before I knew it was 12.00!!
I had been given a bag of oranges and some of them were going bad so I peeled and segmented them all so they are ready for breakfast along with all the grapefruit and the pineapple. I have enough fruit to keep me going for a week!
I made lunch and watched some Neighbours and then baked a cake - date and pineapple loaf. Jon can eat pineapple in cakes just not the fresh fruit.
I made a chicken casserole for dinner as I have Lions and need to be out early.
Jon came home and we had a cup of tea and then pretty soon after it was time for dinner. It was all done and washed up and I left the house at 6.45 to get to my meeting.
We had a good business meeting and it didn't drag on too much. I have been given a few jobs to do one of which is contacting the lady who runs the orphanages in China. She is going out there again in December and has a garage full of things that need sorting so a group of us will go along and give her a hand. I also need to find out about Calendar Girls which some of the ladies would like to go and see.
On my way home I went to the supermarket to save me having to go tomorrow and it was very quiet so bought my few things very quickly and went home.
