We woke to cloud and rain this morning but not cold.
Heather emailed me and asked me to call her for a quick chat. She is still at Jane's looking after the cats and didn't know their telephone package so couldn't call me. She just wanted a chat and to wish us a happy holiday.
We didn't do much today but we did do the housework! Jon vacuumed and dusted and I did the bathrooms and washed the floors and it was all done in just over an hour - maybe retirement is not so bad!
Jon went out for a coffee and I stayed in to call a few people.
I spent the rest of the day sorting out things for our trip and looking up various places for trips to do and trying to decide what to take to cover the cooler weather in Sydney and Adelaide and the hot weather in Darwin and Cairns - it is a problem but one I am happy to have!
Jon cooked his own dinner, we are using up food from the freezer and he had pork chop and I had an omelette.
We watched some TV and I folded all his shirts ready to pack and then I gave my sister, Joyce, a quick call.
Bedtime now as I have to be up early to take Totty to kennels and then go and have my nails done. We don't need to leave till about three o'clock so no rush.
