Thursday and off we go - again!

I woke up to let the dog out at 6.00 and then couldn't get back to sleep - grrrr!

I finally got up at 7.30!

Totty was following me around the house as he knew what was happening, poor little dog.

I left to take her to the kennels. Jon was due to have coffee with Lisa but she cancelled due to a meeting??? Are we getting paranoid about these people? Jon has not heard a word from anyone and it looks like Mike has disappeared off the face of the earth - fickle people!

I asked Bill at the kennels if Totty had a fight when she was in last time as she had a scab on her neck. He said he hadn't seen anything but he did say she gets a 'bit bolshie' with some of the other dogs 'if they get in her face' lol! He said they are careful who they let her out with in the exercise yard and that she is an old lady who has lost her patience!

From the kennels I went over to Bethlehem to have my nails done which took an hour.

I picked up a coffee on the way into Tauranga and then went to buy a few things I needed, like a cardigan!

I got home and got stuck into packing and I must be getting good at it now as it was soon finished and we were nowhere near our weight allowance which is good as we don't want to be lifting heavy cases around for the next two weeks.

I rang Margaret to ask if she wanted to go to a concert which is a fundraiser for the local hospice and the runner up of NZ Got Talent is singing. She is eleven years old and has a lovely voice. Margaret said she would like to go so I booed the tickets online.

We had lunch and then tidied up the house, went to tell the neighbour we were off and then we left.

The drive to Auckland was good apart from the very low sun as we got near to Auckland which made driving difficult.

We checked into the hotel and Jon went to park the car where it will stay or the next two weeks. We sty here the nigh we get back, too.

We had a lovely dinner in the hotel and now, after my early start I am ready for bed. We only have wi-fi I. The bar so I need to finish now.

Weather
Sunny spells 15 degrees.
