My new passport

I rang Mary this morning and we had a long chat as she wasn't at work so we caught up with so much news.

By the time I got out it was late to walk Tot but she enjoyed it just the same.

I had a card left at the house yesterday to say I needed to go to the PO to sign for a letter and as I suspected it was my new passport. It has only taken a week or so. Sad to see no stamps in this one. My old one is by far the best passort I have ever had for stamps. I will have to get busy filling this one up over the next ten years!! Next step is to get my new visa transferred - more money I suspect.

I then went to do my supermarket shopping and had a coffee.

Jon has a board meeting today and Heather needs a hot lunch as her netball game is a late one tonight.

I saw Alison this afternoon and asked her if Doug can lend us a ladder to fix drainpipe which has come away from the joint and the rain is just pouring down and makes such a noise. Jon will get it over the weekend and hopefully it will reach the top of the house.

We ran out of gas at lunchtime and as the valve is faulty we need to buy a new bottle so Jon will collect one on the way home from work.

I spent the afternoon putting lots of of photos on FB and caught up with Corrie.

As it was just Jon and I for dinner we had a nice steak with salad.
