We were all late up this morning to what we usually are. After breakfast Jon and I took Totty down to Rotary Park.
We just popped down to Palmers Garden Centre for coffee today.
When we got back Jon went across to get the ladder from Doug and fortunately he managed to reach the top and fix the downpipe to the gutter.
I saw Kim from next door while I was holding the ladder and we had a chat about the wedding, she thought it was lovely, too.
We had quite a lazy day all in all. A neighbour we met the other week at the leaving do we went to for Cameron called round to invite Heather round to meet his daughter who, works in Auckland but was down for the weekend. Heather went round and had a chat with her but felt a bit uncomfortable as she felt the girl had been put on the spot. They exchanged numbers so we will see what happens.
After lunch Heather and I went down to Fraser Cove shopping and got back too late for a cup of tea!!
I did some BBQ steak for dinner and Heather had chicken. Heather is not going out as Emma has not called her.
I was so tired after not too much to drink and the late night so an early night was called for.
