Andy hasn't emailed us so we presume we have no lesson today. He is a bit hit and miss with his communications but never mind the weather is not very good anyway.
We were lucky with Totty and managed to get her out for her walk before it rained. One side of Rotary Park was very mild and the sea calm but around the corner it was very blowy and the sea was rough.
We went to our usual place for coffee and I had a lovely lemon and coconut muffin and Jon had a little savoury pie - I am waiting for the day when all these muffins catch up with me! By the time we had finished coffee it was raining hard so we decided against the driving range and went across to the shopping centre instead.
I had to go in to Spec Savers and ask where my contact lens were as they were ordered on 9 September. They were very apologetic and said he would get onto it first thing in the morning as he did not know what had happened. We then went and bought some shorts for Jon. That makes four good pairs he has now and I am sure he will get more use out of them than when we were in UK. I had seen some lovely purple coloured crocodile shoes that I felt sure Jane would love and they were reduced and if you bought one pair you got the cheapest pair at half price. Jon saw some summer shoes that he liked so I also bought the shoes for Jane. They fit me so hopefully they will be fine for her. Rainy days are bad at the weekend as we always spend money. Through the week I just go out for coffee.
There was a tour of the glow worm caves at McLaren Falls this evening but it was raining a lot so we stayed in and Jon watched the Grand Prix which as it is in Japan is on live for a change.
