Thankfully the sun was shinning this morning and after taking Totty out for her walk I went over to Alison's. Her brother and his Argentinian girlfriend were going out to lunch and so could not make it and her friend, Wendy, had a surprise visit from her son who came over from the UK and didn't tell her he was coming so she was going out with him so it was just Alison and me.
The walk we did was across the other side of Tauranga around one of the many estuaries. The first half of the walk was through lovely wooded areas and board walks and the second half, not so nice, was on a path next to a main road and back to the car. It took us two hours and was really nice and we exercised our jaws extensively!
We went to a cafe after the walk and had a very nice lunch with the biggest piece of carrot cake as pudding and which I could not finish.
When I got back it was time to take Totty out again. If I had sat down I don't think I would have got up again.
It was all I could do to get the dinner ready tonight! Looking forward to bed.
