Well I did manage to get Totty out this morning but it started to rain when I got to the Red Cross and it didn't stop for the rest of the day!
I found a lovely little dress for Bronwyn's granddaughter for $3 (£1.20)it is so pretty like a sailor dress in white and navy trim with little fishes embroidered on the yolk and brand new from Australia. I spent all morning sorting and arranging the children's wear but it looked very smart when I had finished.
I then spent far too long in the supermarket and was late back for lunch.
It was really cold in the house and so wet outside that I lit the fire and spent the afternoon watching a film called the Painted Veil which was very good. I have watched more TV here in the last ten months than I have watched in the last ten years in the UK!
We had some really good fish and chips tonight. Sometimes it is really special and the batter so crispy. I think we will have to go back to a half a scoop of chips again as the 'scoops' seem to have grown again and Totty is getting too many leftovers!
