..... so I got up early and got ready and took Totty out, and it is another lovely day.
Heather was eventually ready and our first stop was to enrol me at night school for a reflexology course to be run for eight weeks 7-9 pm on Thursdays and only costs $60 (£24). It is at the Boys College which is about a ten minute drive from here and I have always fancied reflexology even though I don't much like feet!
We then went into Tauranga as Heather wanted to have one last white hot chocolate from a particular bar and I, of course, had my coffee.
Our camera has marks on the lens and I can't get them off so I went into a camera shop but they say they will have to send it away and it will take 4-6 weeks and cost a minimum of $200 with no guarantee so I am not sure what to do but the marks are getting really annoying
A wander round the shops for a few last minute souvenirs and then onto the library for a few books as I think I am going to have time to read again.
We then went to get some photos printed for Heather's scrapbook which is looking really good then a quick trip to the supermarket before going home for a bowl of soup.
We took Totty out to the park for a game of ball and to tire her out - I haven't told her she is going to kennels again tomorrow!
There is a shop in the Mount that sells lovely ice cream and so we went off to get one only to find they are now on winter hours and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but we found another shop round the corner that was open and I had a lovely passion fruit ice cream and Heather had hokey pokey and cookies and cream. We drove along the front and sat looking out to sea looking for dolphins but didn't see any.
Back at the house Heather is putting the finishing touches to her scrapbook and then we will finish her packing as we hope to get away by 8.00 in the morning so we have plenty of time in Auckland - I am really not looking forward to saying goodbye to her!!!!!
